The Damage

I get the scissors down for her to cut art projects for 5 seconds and what does she do? These pictures don't do a whole lot of justice. I had the top of it pulled up and she pretty much cut everything on the left side that was still down...so she has a small bit of hair on top to cover it, but not a heck of a lot. I flipped out (I had to remove myself to the garage for a moment to collect myself!) . GRRRHH! She started to bawl when I said we may have to cut the rest of it off short...so why did she start cutting in the 1st place? Beats me. Needless to say that scissors are banished from our house for a moment.

Snipped

We had a bit of a catastrophe today. I still can't speak of it without getting a little perturbed. A lovely little lady of mine decided to snip snip....and....well, the results aren't too terrible, but man! We've had this talk 3 times already! Throw me a bone! Aren't we past the personal barber stage! I'm getting a little heated just typing about it. Maybe tomorrow I can collect myself and my pictures and post the results. Eek.

Bosom Friends

We enjoyed a fab weekend visiting with these beautiful ladies. They are true bosom friends that I couldn't imagine life without! We made some pretty sweet, PINK Valentine's cookies (which I of course forgot to take pics of) and had to make fruit pizza again (for like the 3rd time this week) and enjoyed some great laughs. It was a pretty perfect Valentine's celebration. Thanks lovelies!

Delish

I just tried a new recipe for fruit pizza (I've never really made it myself...but love the stuff). I have to say this is the best recipe I've found yet. Jared even likes it (he has some weird aversion to fruit on bread unless it is jam...I know it's cookie...but it is all bread to him. Until now)! It was a hit!
