I have this darling friend (that is about the cutest mom I know). OK-I have a lot of good friends that are the cutest moms ever and that I completely admire for their talents as mothers. I hope you all know who you are. You all keep me afloat! I have a long way to go in being one of those super patient, super talented, super savvy in everything (sewing, cooking, playing with your kids), crafty-in-both-word-and-deed-to-mold-my-kids-into-perfect-little-people moms that you all are! Anywho-back to the friend-she always posts cool quotes on her family blog about motherhood and does so many darling things with her kiddos to help them build a testimony and to know the gospel is true and that subtly uplift the rest of us trying to do the same thing. You can feel her conviction to be a good mom in every word of every one of her posts! I love it! So here are a couple she posted just recently. If you are still in the process of raising children, be aware that the tiny fingerprints that show up on almost every newly cleaned surface, the toys scattered about the house, the piles and piles of laundry to be tackled will disappear all too soon and that you will—to your surprise—miss them profoundly.
Let us relish life as we live it, find joy in the journey, and share our love with friends and family. One day each of us will run out of tomorrows.
