'I can't talk to you right now because I'm too busy. I have 4 Pointments (appointments).'

Puffy Cheeks

At our music class yesterday one of the moms read a darling book about saying 'I Love You'. This little mouse named Lola went around with her cheeks puffed up all day with special words to say to those she loved...but she just couldn't get them out until just the right time.

So Sam came up to me just after lunch yesterday- 'Mom, guess what I'm going to say' (with puffed cheeks).

'I LOVE YOU!'.
My lovely ladies have been going around puffing up their cheeks all day yesterday and today and blessing us with lots of little I love you's. These are the moments.

Kids Say the Darndest Things!

The girls are sitting at the counter at lunch time, just munching away. As I'm looking at Alex, she has this bump protruding from the top of her dress. I didn't say anything, but as if on que, Sam reaches over and pinches the protrusion (in the most dainty of thumb & pointer pinches) and says,
"Look mom, tissue boobs!"
Where she got it from and how she knew to stuff tissues down her sister's shirt, I'm not entirely sure. We may have to investigate what their teenage aunts are teaching them! ;).
