Happy Independance Day

I am way late in posting these...the month as flown by! We had a fabulous fourth (and 24th for that matter). Filled with lots of parades, fireworks, swimming, barbecuing with family and friends, and fabulous fun. We are so blessed to live so close to our family and so luck to celebrate our freedom together! My little darlings in their patriotic bandana skirts...Thanks Ash for the fabulous idea. They were so fun, fast and most of all, CHEAP! Love it.Alex & Baby Na Na (Sienna) waiting for the fun to start.Pulling a few faces at the camera while impatiently waiting for the candy! Here's to you dad. My handsome brother pulling honor guard duty. What a guy.A little fun in the sun to keep cool after some serious parading!

Minne

I stole away for almost a week with my dear friends Annie & Amber. We have been friends since we were toddlers. There are certain people in your life that really help and influence you to become who you are-in my life, these two were it. I really feel blessed. It has been years since we all hung out...just the girls. Man was it phenomenal.
Memorable moments:
  • Long, late-night, giggling conversations
  • Sleeping in until 10AM
  • Mall of America and H&M (fabulous store)
  • Crazy city driving
  • Counting Crows--need I say more
  • Getting puked on at Counting Crows (poor Amb)
  • Blue Bunny Cherry Chocolate Ice Cream and late night movies
  • Key Lime Pie
  • Yum! (a funky, fun little bakery/diner)
  • Strolling the streets downtown at the Farmer's Market
  • St. Paul Temple
  • Running 3 miles cold turkey (I don't remember the last time I went running-needless to say I was a TAD sore)
  • Sunken Horse Cake (a story for later)
  • Trader Joes
  • one fabulous bikini wax (I know-TMI-but man I feel like a new woman!)
  • AND LOTS OF LAUGHING
These two are the greatest couple I know. Thanks so much for letting us crash your joint for the week and for showing us Minne in all it's finest! We love you.The great city of Minneapolis-downtownSt. Paul Temple Delicious fries at a little eatery called Yum!
